Gas welding is one of the best-known techniques globally and at a low cost; however, currently, its use at an industrial level has decreased, and it is only used at a domestic level. The most widely used gas welding process is the one that uses the combustion of acetylene in oxygen, reaching a flame of around 3,200 °C (5792 °F). Gas welding stands out for its practicality when mobilizing work equipment; however, it has the disadvantage of the time that must be available for the materials joined (by this welding) to cool down.
